Our Self-Guided walking holidays are for those who like to walk independently, staying at a different place along the walking trail each night. Starting and finish on any date of your choosing, walking at your own pace, guided by our detailed route notes and OS maps, and enjoy the sense of freedom walking through peaceful landscapes, your senses re-awakened by the scenery and sounds of the countryside around you.  As you enjoy your self-led walking holiday we transport your luggage, you travel light and in complete freedom, allowing you the time to discover the Isle of Wight's many hidden charms. Other Walking holiday trails supplied by Wight wanders include: Source to sea, a linear walking holiday starting in Chale and finishing in Bembridge. Following the River Yar from where it springs at Niton, you will see the river grow from a tiny trickle as it gathers water from a host of tributaries along its route, swelling to where it meets the sea at Bembridge Harbour. Red Squirrel Trail: On the trail of the Islands most famous inhabitant, the beautiful but elusive Red Squirrel. This circular walking holiday on the Isle of Wight takes you along the coastal path from Cowes to Yarmouth passing through small copses along the way. Then heading inland over the wooded areas of the Downs of the West Wight and finally passing through Parkhurst Forest one of the main habitats of the Red Squirrel. Creeks and Coombs, a linear walking holiday starting in Cowes follows the more remote part of the Isle of Wight coastal path then around Newtown Creek before heading inland.
